We are looking for a talented and creative Video Reel Creator who can both shoot and edit high-quality short-form video content specifically designed for platforms like Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts. The ideal candidate has a keen eye for storytelling, understands current social trends, and can bring ideas to life through dynamic visuals, animation, and text.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, shoot, and edit short-form videos optimized for social media
- Incorporate smooth transitions, motion graphics, text animations, and captions
- Align content style with our brand voice and target audience
- Add trending sounds/music and stay up to date with content formats that perform well
- Work independently or with a team to produce visually compelling content with quick turnarounds
- Maintain consistency across multiple pieces of content
- Organize and manage raw footage, project files, and final deliverables
Required Skills & Tools
- Proficiency in video editing tools like Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut, or Final Cut Pro
- Strong understanding of social media video formats and aspect ratios (9:16, 1:1, etc.)
- Ability to shoot with professional gear (DSLR/mirrorless camera, lighting, mic setup)
- Experience with animation and text overlays for social-first content
- Creative storytelling and fast editing style tailored to short attention spans
- Familiarity with Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube content best practices
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior work creating high-engagement Reels, Shorts, or TikToks
- Background in content marketing or social media strategy
- Experience with basic color grading and sound design
- Comfortable working under deadlines and adapting to feedback
- Portfolio showcasing short-form social media video content
